Tours
We conduct tours for families who are eligible to apply for the current or upcoming school year. Children are eligible to apply for enrollment through lottery placement if they will turn 3 on/before September 1st, and for mid-year rolling enrollment once they turn 3.
During the tour, families will meet with the Director or Assistant Director and see the classrooms in action. Tours are by appointment on the following schedule: Tuesdays at 1:30 PM (in-person) and Wednesdays at 9:00 AM (in-person). If a ZOOM tour is needed for accessibility purposes, we are happy to set that up.

For families new to Montview, your first step is fill out an inquiry so we can be in touch to schedule a tour. After your tour, you can apply for enrollment.

Lottery Process
Our annual preschool and kindergarten lottery takes place on the first Monday in February every year. Students must turn 3 by September 1st, for the school year they wish to attend, in order to be eligible for lottery placement. To be considered for lottery placement, your application must be submitted to Montview by the Friday prior to lottery. Class placements are announced via email in early-March. Once the lottery enrollment deadlines have passed, we will still admit students on a rolling basis depending on availability.
Young 3’s
We are licensed for ages 3 to 6, so students must be 3 in order to attend, and they must be 3 by September 1st in order to participate in our lottery placement. We have rolling enrollments based on spots available, for students who turn 3 between September and January.
Families with children who don’t turn 3 until after the start of school are welcome to join our Interested Families list to enroll after their child’s 3rd birthday if we have openings available at that time.
Alternatively, if families are interested in immediately securing an open spot for their “Young 3” for the upcoming school year, they can do so by paying advance fees right away as well as agreeing to pay full tuition for the months leading up to their child’s 3rd birthday even though their child wouldn’t be able to attend yet.
