Fundraising at Montview
Since 1964 Montview Community Preschool & Kindergarten has welcomed and supported diverse families. Our parents, grandparents, alumni families, and community partners support diversity and inclusion at Montview through their generous fundraising efforts and annual giving. All of our fundraising dollars are earmarked for Financial Aid, making Montview accessible to all children regardless of their socioeconomic status. Montview families support this fundraising through their active participation in the campaigns outlined by our Parent Committee.

Annual Giving
Our Annual Giving campaign is a simple way to contribute. If your family decides not to participate in the Grocery Cards program, you must make an annual $125 contribution to Annual Giving. We welcome and encourage families who can give more to do so. Your gift contributes to fulfillment of our mission to support diverse families within our community. Donations to our school are tax deductible and are also a great way for grandparents, extended family, and alumni to support early education.
Kickball
Our kickball tournament happens in early October and is our biggest fundraising event of the year. In 2018 the school raised over $26,000! Parents, teachers, and community partners form kickball teams, solicit sponsorships, and raise money for tuition assistance at Montview. It is also a great community building event that fosters classroom and school relationships among our families and staff!
Carnival
Our annual Carnival, on the first Saturday in May, is well-loved a community event. Ticket sales and sponsorships raise funds for the school. Each Montview family supports this event by providing baked goods, participating in a classroom job, helping on the day of the event, and through ticket sales. All are welcome at Carnival – friends, neighbors, prospective families, and alumni!
